Postgraduate

Are you interested in a career in emergency medicine (EM)? At McMaster, there are two distinct EM training streams – a five-year Royal College specialization offered through the Department of Medicine and a one-year Certificate of Added Competency for residents who have completed a family medicine training program. McMaster also offers a pediatric EM fellowship program available to emergency medicine or pediatric residents looking to develop further specialization. Each program offers an immersive and robust emergency medicine curriculum and prepares our graduates for impactful careers in both academic and community emergency medicine.
