Hamilton General Hospital Learn More

Hamilton General Hospital (HGH) was the first hospital in Hamilton. Along with providing general internal medicine care to its large community, it is home to a number of Hamilton Health Sciences’ key regional referral programs, including burns, cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, endovascular treatment, extracorporeal life support (ECMO), neurosurgery, stroke, trauma and vascular surgery.

McMaster Children’s Hospital Learn More

McMaster Children’s Hospital (MCH) is home to the fastest-growing kids-only emergency department in Ontario, Canada’s largest neonatal intensive care unit and Ontario’s largest inpatient child and youth mental health unit. It offers a full range of programs and clinics with unique expertise in a number of areas, including children’s cancer, digestive diseases, orthopedics, neurosurgery and mental health.

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton Learn More

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s (SJHH) Charlton Campus has the busiest emergency department in Hamilton, with more than 60,000 emergency room visits per year. It is also the regional Emergency Psychiatric Service. We are dedicated to providing the best care for patients, and our professionals are available to care for the needs of infants, children and adults at any time.

The Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre (JHCC), located on the Hamilton escarpment, is home to one of the largest and most comprehensive Regional Cancer Programs in Ontario. A general medical/surgical hospital, it serves a population of more than 2.3 million people and offers a diverse set of patient care services, including a comprehensive emergency department, medical and intensive care services, surgical oncology, complex malignant hematology, oncology, orthopedics, arthroplasty, rehabilitation and diagnostics.
